EFFORT — Geothermal concepts have been a novelty in home construction for years but only recently have become the buzz word in the industry.

Falcon Crest Homes Inc. on Route 115 in Effort, it has become a part of the business approach for the past two years.

“People think it’s just the geothermal heating system but it’s more than that,” said Modica as he proudly viewed one of his three geothermal homes under construction this one in Saylorsburg — along with two others that are sold and awaiting closing.
